Benefits have worsened since LabCorp bought Covance. However, plenty of PTO and a bonus.

The amount of PTO, flexibility, and matching 401K is a major perk for this company. Health insurance is better than some companies, but could be more affordable. The longer you are there the more PTO you get.

Insurance is so bad after the merge with LabCorp. Families are paying close to $1,000/ month for insurance. Individuals about $400/month. $150 extra if you smoke and $50/month extra if you are obese. You must have a referral EVERY time you see specialist. The deductible is outrageous the insurance hardly covers anything.

While the 401k is quite agreeable, the health insurance coverage is sub par to my previous employers but their premium is considerably higher, nearly doubled.

-Low pay and Low raise + Always too much work to do
-No bonuses
-You receive 18 days paid time off per year. However, they don’t give you sick leave. On a sever weather day or when you get sick, they make you use your paid time off to take that day off.
-You can work overtime if you want to. However, on the weeks when there is a holiday or you use paid time off, they don’t count it as you worked 40hrs/wk so you don’t receive overtime pay even if you work extra hours.
-If you work less than 40 hrs/wk, they deduct hours from your paid time off.
-They only give you 6 holidays per year(New year’s day, Memorial day, Independence day, Labor day, Thanksgiving day, Christmas day).

Company contributes to 401k with or without match, which is great. Health, dental, and eye are fairly priced in a good system. Free lab work is impossible to match at any other company. Paid time off is definitely low, competitively.

401 K is decent. The pay to begin is decent, but the annual increase is lacking.
