The discount was a measly 10% which only removed tax from the purchase.

Employees enjoy a limited 10% discount up to the amount they earned in the previous pay period. Employees that are part time and make $200 can charge $200 to their payroll account and receive 10% off the purchase , However this also means that their next check will be minus the Total amount of the purchase/

It's ten percent off and you pay with your ID badge. There is a cap so you can't get 10% off your new kitchen unless you buy it over a long period of time.

Best thing is that we get a discount. Worst thing is that it is only 10%

It is what you make it. It was good for me until it wasn't. Eventually I chose to have a family, And that conflicted with their ideal manager.

The only way to get it is through payroll deduction. So it's hard to use for large purchases.

The worst thing is that the amount is deducted from your paycheck an you cannot go over a specific percentage of that paycheck. Making exceptionally large purchases more difficult. That said the more you make the more you have to spend.
