Bereavement Leave

Available as part of the benefit package.

My friend had to use this option, and it was only a day.

3 days paid, but if you need more time ( a day or 2 at most) you must use your personal or vacation time and you are expected to return within a week. no allowance for travel or time to grieve. about the standard for large companies.

The Bereavement Leave was the same as every other company that I have worked for you got three days of leave.

Michaels officially offers bereavement leave but it's very subjective to the supervisor and I have personally seen people denied.
