I guess they are like any other major tech company, at some point a few years ago they decided to switch to co-pay type of insurance where the the employee pays up to a maximum per year of almost $6,500, after that they take care of the rest. They give the employees $2,500 each year for their HSA Account

Microsoft switched to HSA plan from Cadillac plan after Obamacare. The employer contribution to HSA is decent and the out of pocket maximum deductible is lesser than other big tech companies.
