Health Insurance

The health insurance was very good, however I am not sure how good it will be in 2016 since we are changing providers.

Mostly paid for by the company, including family.

Seems to be good and pays as expected. No problems so far.

About to get the shaft. They are stopping the Cigna Open Access plan (think: NO deductible, $20 copays, out of pocket max/yr $1500, coverage for most things other companies don't cover - it was a bit expensive, but awesome coverage). Now (for 2016) we are going to a BCBS PPO plan with three level selections, and the lowest deductible selection will be more expensive than the Cigna plan!!!! I am, uh, disappointed about this, to say the least! - Basically, equivalent to cutting my total compensation by $2-4,000/yr I would guess, depending on useage - more for those with higher medical expenses.

There are many options available to make it effective to suit individual needs.
