Very standard benefits compared with other similar companies

Neustar benefits on par or better than nearly every other company that I have worked for. Healthcare costs better than most (and they have minimized any material cost impact year over year), 401k match programs, company perks. Cannot think of a "worst thing" except potentially that 401k match occurs annually.

The company cut the benefit in 2019. People joined the company before Jan 1 2019 has 20 days of PTO, people joined after Jan 1 2019 has 15 days. The tuition assistance went down from $1,5000 /year to $5000/year but expanded from US to global offices. 401K fully vest after 5 years of service for people join after Jan 1 2019, 3 years for people joined before Jan 1 2019.

The benefits package was decent.

Great benefits package including generous PTO, flex days and mental health days. Medical, dental, vision are competitive with flexible options including HSA. Competitive 401K options and has company match. Downsides are minor (PTO balance carryover capped at 80 hours at end of year and 401K match is paid annually).

Neustar has great benefits packages, including new Mental Health Days in recognition of the stresses of Covid.
