You get 30% off of everything you want in the store, including sale and clearance items. You can also use a coupon if there is a coupon that is better than your employee discount.

They used to be awful, but now that it's 30% off everything, it's a great deal for associates. And they can get anyone in their family shoes as often as they want. Every christmas my family knows what they're getting... SLIPPERS FOR EVERYONE!

The best thing about the employee discount is that they changed it! We now get 30% off everything in the store, including clearance items and sale items.

30% off is great but the shoes are so cheaply made that I rarely buy from payless

It used to be pretty good. Now it is 30% off , which any customer can get if they sign up to get coupons, so you can't exactly consider it and "employee discount"

30% on everything. They changed it so you don't get the 50% one anymore.

It's used to be 50% off once a month on a full-priced item and 30% off on anything else. Now it's 30% off of everything, which sucks. Employees have asked to go back to the previous system, but corporate sent out a memo basically stating, "This is the way we do it now."
