Employees at Progressive enjoy a wide range of benefits. We offer medical, dental and vision coverage and a 401(k) plan--with a 6% match. We also offer some unexpected benefits, such as seated massage, lactation rooms, on-site fitness centers ,and health clinics at our larger locations.
We even provide options to help you manage your work-life balance, including non-traditional schedules and work-from-home arrangements. Employees can also take part in a number of programs to succeed in their role and grow their career, including in-house training programs, mentorships, and tuition assistance. It's not surprise that we also offer free employee courses on how to improve their overall health, ranging from stress management to financial health.
And, there are a lot more benefits sprinkled into the mix.
Health insurance used to be better, now it's about par with everything out in the market. Typical High Deductible offering or a mid-level plan that costs a lot more. If you have an illness that requires any kind of maintenance drug or equipment, the plan is not good at all.
401(k) is good - 100% match on 6% contribution rate and fully vested from the start.
The tuition reimbursement is very minimal at $2500 a year. Try going to more than 1 class a year on that...and it doesn't apply to any certificate programs, just degree programs.
They do not have any benefit for Contractors, not even work from home option.

Great onsite fitness center and health services. 401k matching is good.

Progressive doesn't exactly match your 401k. I know other companies that match your contribution no matter how much of a percentage you do. You have to do at 6% before they start matching. Not crazy about how they do their vacation time you get 5 hours a paycheck, no sick time so you have to use your vacation time if you're sick.

There is not a lot of health insurance options like other companies and they all have deductibles, gain share program is the best benefit offered. Also I wish they offered more for weight loss programs

I had zero benefits and the consulting firm offered me one of the worst health care packages I've ever seen for the most money I have ever had to pay for coverage. Awful at $700+ plus monthly premium and $2000 deductible.
