Employees at Progressive enjoy a wide range of benefits. We offer medical, dental and vision coverage and a 401(k) plan--with a 6% match. We also offer some unexpected benefits, such as seated massage, lactation rooms, on-site fitness centers ,and health clinics at our larger locations.
We even provide options to help you manage your work-life balance, including non-traditional schedules and work-from-home arrangements. Employees can also take part in a number of programs to succeed in their role and grow their career, including in-house training programs, mentorships, and tuition assistance. It's not surprise that we also offer free employee courses on how to improve their overall health, ranging from stress management to financial health.
And, there are a lot more benefits sprinkled into the mix.
The company takes care of their employees through a comprehensive benefits program. I wish the tuition reimbursement was higher ($2K per year) but that would be my only negative.

Benefits were excellent. You get health insurance, vision, dental, life insurance, short term and long term disability, maternity, FMLA, 401k, and best of all, Gainshare (profit sharing bonus at the end of each year). Also the office building has an on-site cafeteria, gym, clinic, lactation room, and quiet rooms.

Paid vacation and sick pay combined into one.
401k is good and the match from Progressive is great.
End of year gain share just in time for the holidays.
Medical and Dental coverage is average - comparable to other employers. They used to be better, cover more, have more options for lower deductibles but with the economy changes their packages changed as well.

Whenever the call volumn is low, if they have too many workers on the clock, they will allow staff to leave early in order to reduce the work force.

Best: Gainshare which is Progressive's Year-End Cash Bonus, Vacation Time and Flexible Schedule.
Worst: Nothing about their benefit package is 'worst'. The health, dental and vision insurance they provide isn't cheap and is only average in services provided. Tuition assistance is a joke. You get approximately 3K a here which isn't even enough for one class at a reputed university.
