Employees at Progressive enjoy a wide range of benefits. We offer medical, dental and vision coverage and a 401(k) plan--with a 6% match. We also offer some unexpected benefits, such as seated massage, lactation rooms, on-site fitness centers ,and health clinics at our larger locations.
We even provide options to help you manage your work-life balance, including non-traditional schedules and work-from-home arrangements. Employees can also take part in a number of programs to succeed in their role and grow their career, including in-house training programs, mentorships, and tuition assistance. It's not surprise that we also offer free employee courses on how to improve their overall health, ranging from stress management to financial health.
And, there are a lot more benefits sprinkled into the mix.
compared to friends and families at other large companies progressive is by far the best premium and coverage I have heard of.

It is very comprehensive. My only complaint is that while the HSA program includes a debit card, the FSA program does not.

The best thing about the benefits package at Progressive Insurance is the fact that your Dr., massage therapist, gym, and cafeteria was onsite. Initially, the actual benefits were awesome as well--I once had to spend a week in the hospital and I spent 50 dollars. Over the course of 12 years though, the benefits at Progressive (as with most company's probably) declined and it was something like 80/20 + deductible at the end.

They only offer 80/20 insurance. Meaning that you are responsible for 20% of your insurance costs up the the cap (which is $1,500 per person). If you end up paying $1,500 total, the rest is covered at 100%. So the most an individual would have to pay out of pocket per year is $1,500. But that is still a lot of money. The deductible is higher if you are also covering your family members. Your annual physical is free.
Vision insurance is GREAT and super cheap! They cover your annual eye appointment and give you $110 to buy glasses. You only pay $15 co-pay. So as long as you select glasses frames that are under $110, you only pay your $15 co-pay. $15 for a pair of prescription glasses each year is a good deal!
We also had decent dental insurance.

Gainshare is a huge perk! Health insurance packages are comprehensive but expensive (additional premium for working spouses).

The Benefits package is very comprehensive and in my opinion priced appropriately at the time I worked there. Medical Dental and Vision all offered. Good vacation or paid time off practices.

Overall benefits package is comprehensive from medical/dental/vision to offering AFLAC. Starting vacation package is also good, starting at just over 5 hours per pay period.

The Benefits are great!! I have worked at large companies where you have to pay a lot for health Plans. Great time off and flex time options.401k with company match. Never get a hard time about taking time off.

Deductible is very high and health insurance will not work with customers. 401K contribution is low.
