Vacation & Paid Time Off

You earn it per pay period. And sick time is rolled into one time back with vacation time.

After the first year you earn 17 days in vacation, personal, and sick time.

With Progressive you're able to earn a good amount of vacation time and you are able to use it as soon as you get it.

one month of paid time off is pretty generous. you have to accumulate it.

Very few holidays - 5 overall in a year

It's combined vacation and sick leave, other companies offer better benefits with vacation time and you don't have to worry about what happens if you get sick, since you then also have sick time!

The flexibility of the vacation and paid time off program is great. The rate at which time accrues is very competitive

It is nice to have two weeks for maternity leave, but again, it is only two weeks. I think three weeks is the bare minimum to get your spouse and child settled.

PTO is very hard to accumulate. You have no choice but to use time if you have it, i.e. if you call out a day and you work a 10 hour shift but you only have 6 hours, you have to use all of the hours and you still get the occurrence.
