It's completely controlled by your supervisors discretion.

No sick days, everything comes out of your accumulated paid time off. You start with 14 days a year or so. You gain an extra day a year if a holiday falls on a weekend. Unused vacation time rolls over to the next year, up to 370hrs or so i believe.

You earn your time subsequent to each paycheck. That time increases as your seniority increases.

Earned time benefit for vaction

Earned Time Bank can be carried over into the next year.

Vacation time is okay but rolled into PTO with sick time and all time taken off is hard to get approved. If you are sick, they still expect you to close claims.

You'll accrue a lot of vacation if you stay past 5 years. Troublesome part is getting it approved.
