Always had great customer service and could always talk to a real life person to fix any issues that came up from medical expenses.

A reasonable number of companies and plans to choose from.

The plan is very good for me + my wife. Its a little complex to pick the right plan:<(

The customer service is fantastic. When I have a question about benefits, they are always very helpful. I've had Kaiser before and switching from that to a PPO system has been a learning experience to say the least- but they are always patient with my questions.

Although I have been gone from Providence Alaska Medical Center I remember that the pension plan was competitive with other locally employers here in Alaska. i would participate in the plan again if give the opportunity.

The premiums were affordable. Also, you receive an additional health incentive ($700-1400 annual) for simply completing on online health assessment.

They have fairly comprehensive coverage with total (100%) coverage kicking in around $6000. They do provide a HSA account to allow tax free savings of that 6k.

Health insurance is excellent and the company pays for a large portion.

Co-pays went up, but overall benefits were good.
