There is not a structured job training for buyer. It is very difficult to learn the position and easy to make mistakes.

Basic training is offered for entry level positions. And newly promoted managers, however, this is a major disadvantage overall. For a plethora of reasons.

It's nothing formal, but there is a grace period while you learn the ropes.

Job training happens on the job, for the most part. Publix pays new hires to attend 2 days of training prior to starting the job. However, most practical knowledge is learned by doing the work and interacting with associates.

They offer great training program and they continue to reach you stuff throughout your career with them.

My boss had a nervous breakdown and didn't return. As of my 2nd day of employment, I didn't have a boss for 2 weeks.
