Quad Med sent me to hosp for tests that could have been performed by them for free, but now I'm getting charged for them. Evidently there is a deductible in place if tests are performed at hosp, which in my opinion is unfair given that I'm paying a high enough premium for this insurance in the first place.

There is a 60 day grace period before the insurance takes effect. The grace period is only 30 days i you go from being a part-time employee to full-time.
