Better to use MassHealth or the university health insurance before your start date. Very expensive...many things are not covered until you have spent over 4,000 on healthcare during the year.

Best thing is they offer a high deductible, low premium option for people who never get sick/go to the doctor but just want to be covered in case of accident.

Deductibles for insurance are very high. You wind up paying out of pocket costs that are hard to manage for anyone.

Decent. Nice to have the option of high deductible combined with HSA. Coverage on the basic plans is fair. Health insurance coverage is better than dental. Vision coverage is average.
