standard package with a number of options to individualize the plan to the desires of the employee

The company has a six percent match with an optional company match. the match could be higher, but what they offer is great for the industry.

My previous employer was matching 100% of the emnployee's contribution up to 3% of contributed amount, but restaurant associates matches 40% up to 5% of the total contribution. The 401 plan is good, but does force the employee to contribute at the higher rate in order to take full advantage of the benefit

For the most part, it is very good. I am not too savvy but I hear some people wish they had more control over what it invests into

They match up to 6% of your annual income at 3%. So if you put 15% of your annual income into your 401k. Restaurant Associates will only match up to 6% of your annual income, and they will match it at 3%.

It was ok - could have been worse, could have been much better.
