Employee Discounts

The employee discount is 20% but long time Rite Aid customers (which there are many) also receive 20% discount which doesn't seem like a deal for employees. Not to mention the discount doesn't work on sale items.

twenty percent discount however does not apply to already discounted merchandise, beer, or tobacco. Not bad discount, not great, but motivates you to buy drinks for your team.

Employee discount is that same that Gold status customers get. OTC's are regularly priced higher than other stores, like Meijer, due to the BOGO's they have in every week's sale flyer. If I can get it at Meijer for $8, the regular price at Rite Aid is likely $10 - so 20% off employee discount is the same as Meijer's regular price. Once a quarter we get employee 30% off - and then they pass out friends & family coupons for the same discount. Employee discount is "discount or sale price, whichever is less" - so discount doesn't apply to sale merchandise, unlike anywhere else I've worked that offered employee discounts.

Same as GOLD customer discount. Nothing to write home about. Not sure what else to explain besides that.

the rite aid discount is not that great the customer cane get the same discount as the employee and some time they increase the discount to 30% thats only a couple time a year. we should at least get 25% off
