The 20% daily discount is nice.

Solid 20% discount that goes to 30% about 4 times per year as a reward for good financial results company-wide. But this discount is no better than what loyalty card members can achieve with shopping regularly. I think 40% is a better deal.

Employee Discount is 20% off, which is the same that customers receive after reaching a level of 1000 points on their wellness with plenti cards. (That is not hard to earn as a customer, either).

You can get the same discount for spending just a few hundred dollars and filling a handful of prescriptions.

Worst impact was the customer loyalty program. Employee discount is the same as for preferred customers, no longer a perk

It's only 20%. It's not all that great. You don't get the 20% discount along with a sale price. You get the better deal.

It's nothing crazy, but 20% is pretty nice. A lot of other folks I've talked to at retail places only get 10% off. However I've seen a lot of places let you stack deals/sales/promotions AND employee discount. Rite Aid takes either your 20% off employee discount OR the sale - whichever is better. It's decent if you like to get snacks at work or make up but otherwise it's not really like they sell anything you can't get elsewhere.
