Outside of the low cost to employees for health benefits, the on-site doctors were no cost for those choosing to receive care on campus which was also incredibly convenient. Because SAS was so well known in the area, using benefits for medical services outside of SAS campus was a breeze. Not at all saying SAS employees received special treatment and definitely not suggesting employees received better care, but mentioning working at SAS seemed to make the process considerably smoother. Dependent care on campus changed dramatically during COVID. While subsidized care is still provided for employees at an on-site facility and the option for reimbursement is available for dependent care at any approved facility, the handling of the employees in the childcare center during the transition was very un-SAS-like.

Covered most, if not all, prescription meds for multiple rounds of IVF. Later, offered adoption assistance and provided time off.
