After recently increasing the benefits package things are a little better, and if you don't smoke and do the body index you can get $50 off your monthly health insurance, making it stay the same price as last year instead of going up.

Benefits for a family were very expensive in the past but changes for 2016 will be much more affordable. Paid maternity and paternity leave is a really nice feature for 2016.

For a young, single adult entering the workforce, the insurance is incredible as ScriptPro covers 90% of the cost making it near nothing to purchase. The same cannot be said of the family plan which can be rather expensive. Before the Affordable Health Care Act was passed, I actually purchased a plan for my family outside of the company plan and allowed ScriptPro to cover only me as it was cheaper. 401k plan is neither great, not horrible. It just is. A member is able to borrow from their plan for the adoption of a child, college tuition, and the purchase of a first home. The company does offer profit sharing, and I am pleased to say that, although small some years, they have always kicked into my account a share of the profits. Although there is no telecommute policy for local workers, or "work from home policy", most of the management team is understandable of life's misfortunes and depending on the situation, employees have been allowed to work from home, or adjust schedules accordingly. Most employees are given an iPhone during new hire training; this is dependent on your role. Also depending on your role you may be eligible to expense your home internet costs. Time off is accrued with service and you earn 80 hours in your first year.
