401K Plan

AT first sears added money with you, then they stopped that....the 401-ks are a joke.....

It is not worth having this taken from your paycheck because you will not receive much at the end of your employment with the company.

The 401k plan is managed by Aon. It has done well, but has been hard to access once I left to get the funds back out. No company match.

I didn't use it because my income was too low.

its ok...but if you are a "highly compensated employee" there are few pre-tax options.

I would wish that they would match the 401 as used to be done

company does not contribute ever

Employees cannot contribute to 401k until after a year of employment. At that point they let you know you are eligible to contribute but not all management are clear on the financial guidance that is availalbe. I was told when I reached a year that there was no financial guidance available through Sears. A year later, when renewing my benefits I discovered there is in fact financial guidance available.

They offer a 401K but do not match in any way shape or form.
