Employee Discounts

It was a 10% discount. Nothing too special. Sales tax in TN is 9.5% so you just saved the taxes.

Pretty okay - 10% off electronics etc or 20% off clothes, home etc

It is OK. pretty standard 10 to 20% off certain items

10% off but if you use a credit card it has to be a sears card

Employee discount , fruends and family, member rewards program

20% off apparel, 10% off appliances/tools, 5% off electronics. Can't be stacked with coupons.

Poor discount program for employees

Sears offered good discounts along with friend and family discount events that you could use in addition to your employee discount on specific dates. That created a strong incentive to get some great deals. Sears also had a discount store at their corporate office that employees could take advantage of .

Would be a TON better if it was a flat amount across the entire store, or if my family could use it. Instead they pick and choose amounts of discount according to department.

Nothing special 10% off most things, 20% off apparel.
