The best plan I ever had so far in my career

New benefits are poor.

I can continue to see the same doctor that i have for years, and the out of pocket expense is low

Good options incl HMO & various PPO

The benefits were completely revamped with the merger and it seemed like they chose the worst options available for the employees. Even after having clarification meetings with each group, no one understood how it was going to work. It's almost like self insured, but not really. You seriously needed to know calculus to figure out if you had good or bad healthcare or how much it was going to cost you when you visited the doctor.
