Vested after five years. Minimum retirement age 56 plus Ten years of service. Full retirement at 55 with 30 Years service or 60 with 20 years of service.

Best: Company matches up to 50% Worst: Relocating funds after separation of service is a much better idea than full withdraw (heavily taxed)

Have federal retirement plans as well as a TSP(thrift savings plan). They contribute 1% even if you don't contribute any as long as you set on up upon hireing. They'll match up to 5%.
