Talbots offered great discounts on full priced products and a discount on sale merchandise. A couple of times a year there were other discounts offered or free promotional products.

Worst thing is that the employee discount is only applied to full price items and is not an incredibly high percentage. There are certainly worse discounts at different retailers, but if you worked at an Outlet like I did, not being able to use your discount on on-sale products is not always the best.

Discount offered at all times even on marked down merchandise. A couple of weeks out of the month a deeper discount is incentive to buy and wear current seasonal company product.

Merchandise is still expensive even after the discount.

They have a very generous 50% off every day employee discount and sometimes we get 60% which is amazing!
