Employee Discounts

You get 10% off, but you have to use cash or your Target Red Card in order for you to apply your employee discount.

Only 10 percent off. Also adding some welness incentives throughout the year. Also a discount website that offers several perks ranging from car insurance, to cell phone plans, etc. Should have a greater percent off on product.

The worst thing about the employee discount is that it can only be used with cash or the target red card

it was only 5% which I don't think at the time even quite covered taxes. I believe you could get a better discount if you signed up for their red card and did your banking with them, but at that time they had also had a major problem with unsecured PIN numbers.

It's only 10% and is strictly regulated. Family members can't use and often you can't use it on sale items, and most items are on some kind of sale.

I was absolutely satisfied with the employee discount, even though it was only 10%, it was still nice to have it. You basically wind up not paying for tax, and they do have some great deals sometimes, so it is worth it. You can use the 10% discount on everything, or at least when I was working there you could. NOTE: You cannot give your friends or family members your discount because they will give you a harsh warning at first and then fire you after.

It's okay. It could be a lot worse but you see things go on sale earlier than others.

It's always a nice perk to be able to save were you shop and work, it may not seem much but it definitively adds up

In order to use the discount you either have to pay cash or use the TARGET REDcard and you cannot use the discount on gift cards (anymore).
