Vacation & Paid Time Off

Hardly any holidays. Vacation days cannot be negotiated with HR even if you relocated to HQ. Luckily, i had a great team culture and they allowed me to work from home for a day around christmas and thanksgiving. Target's reasoning for their strict guidelines is to "match store team member's and support them." No one works on black friday at HQ. everyone comes in and eats team breakfast, work for an hour or two and then heads home early since most partners (notably vendors) are OOO so work can't get done anyways. Same with christmas eve! Another reason why Target's reasoning is not great is because the international Target offices can get up to 10-15 paid holidays instead of the US' 6 days.
