Sick Leave

HA. if you tried to be sick (atleast at my location), you'd be forced to come in or you'd lose your job. If you're sick, you better be on a slab or they won't accept it.

Sick time is offered at 25 hours per fiscal year

Takes 1 year before earning any paid time off. If you call in sick, you better get a dr note.

Depending on where you live and if you are part time or full time they give you sick days, as a part time ASM I got 16 hours every year, which is 2 days. I was hardly ever super sick enough to use them, I think i ended up using one of them on my last day (haha) and one prior to that for another reason.

I could not help but feel looked down upon when I was sick, I loathed calling in sick because my managers would seem annoyed. I guess they would just do whatever they could to not pay me at all if I was sick. I just called in sick, and they would put it as a called out.

Was never given a policy on attendance, but they were completely not understanding of a medical emergency.

As a manager it was very hard to actually be able to use sick days

It was retail so there were not really sic days that were available. If you happened to be sic or needed a day off you would just call out.
