TRICARE for family members can be difficult. My daughter broke her wrist and required treatment at Urgent Care. Getting a consult with an orthopedic took a few weeks, while waiting on TRICARE to approve the funding.

A lot of people complain about military healthcare, but it's totally free for service members and their families.

Extremely affordable and comprehensive. Sometimes the type of service can feel detached and the attitudes in military hospitals are not as 'comfortable' as civilian ones, but that is due to the military environment and the proclivity to skip the BS and get to the point (that is, care for you).
