Fully covers everything with the exception of cosmetic surgeries (which can be covered if they are related to a mental health issue). For behavioral health issues (specifically for family members) 8 visits are given for free, with a determination if further are needed. 1 star less than five due to the fact that they choose you family clinic for you in the area, and clinic choice can occasionally leave something to be desired.

Fantastic if your family is proactive.

No copays is the best thing about the Army's healthcare coverage.

I can't say anything bad about it.

Great insurance everything is paid in full. Could have better doctors for some areas of healthcare. If you are on a smaller base the doctors may not be as well trained to handle certain issues.

Best: They pay instantly plus Health Insurance is free. Worst: Like any insurance, if you're hurt while breaking the law, they don't pay.

It could be better. As a Soldier you get better benefits, but as a federal employee you don't have access to the same tricare coverage.
