Good plan for those that are in the Army now, but changing for new Soldiers

The US Army Retirement Plan has been a good way for me to put money aside for my Retirement, they offer a (TSP) Thrift Savings Plan or the 401k Option to ensure that individuals are secure well in advance prior to their final days in the military. Beyond that, you are required to attend a briefing 1 to 2 years in advance prior to your final days of serving within the US Army, this briefing includes: VA Benefits along with how to prepare for Disability Claims, Spousal Benefits which will ensure that Spouses and Dependents are well supported after a soldier leaves the US Army or if a soldier passes away after retirement, you will also get briefed on your continued benefits that will be available to you in furthering your education and will still be paid for by the US Army well after your retirement, these briefings also help you prepare effective Resumes for future employment outside of the military. These are some of the things that make me appreciate my ability to serve this country and to ensure that I will continue to be successful well after I move on to other Job Opportunities.
