I am in the older Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS). It is much better than the current Federal Employees Retirement System. Especially since the CSRS does not have limitations on income after retirement affecting your retired pay.

the best thing is that I no longer belong to the military, the worst thing is that once you retire, you mean nothing to the government and have to fight with everyone else just to receive generic treatment from the VA who just hands you pills and says "have a nice day"
