Walgreens offers a wide variety of benefits to eligible team members designed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being while helping you balance work and life. In addition to company-paid life insurance and voluntary life & personal accident insurance, the benefits below are available to our team members.
I didn't have many benefits since I was a student and would only work full time in the summers. The employee discount back at that time was 15% off.

I enjoy that Walgreens benefits include a 401 matching plan and stock purchase plan. I think that for the money you spend on benefits such as health insurance etc, you receive a fair value.

There is nothing bad really. If you work in store, you are not allowed to take vacations after October.

there are no perks they provide insurance, im sorry one perk is employee discount and the fact you can float around to any store to find hours which you will need to do because hours cut happen frequently

I cant afford Walgreen's benefits. they are too expensive. profit sharing sucks. i have cheap crappy Obama care insurance. the employee discount is cool though.

The best things were 1.) the employee discount: 25% off Walgreens products and 15% off everything else, and 2.) the retirement packages/profit sharing. Very good rates and not noticed when deducted from paychecks. The worst thing was holiday pay. J-O-K-E. Whether you worked the holiday or not, you got 8 ours (or your average hours) extra pay, but if you worked on the holiday you didn't get time and half. Just your regular hours. So, there was no benefit to working the holidays.
