Although I was technically "Part Time." I had a severe disability, and got denied my days off to count against me, even with medical documentation. Threatened to get fired because of it.

If you are a full-time employee they have a good benefits package. If you are a part-time employee you can get health insurance, which is affordable. If you need time off, give at least two weeks in advance. They are flexible with time-off.

Walgreens offers great benefits. I'm an employee of 12 years and don't have anything negative to say about the health care, dental, eye or retirement benefits.

The profit sharing/ 401k plan is pretty good. They have a good match and the mutual funds in the plan had pretty low fees. Vacation is pretty fair. If you're a store manager, it can be difficult taking time off sometimes because of many different reasons but mostly because may not have an experienced assistant to manage the store in your absence.
