Walgreens offers a wide variety of benefits to eligible team members designed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being while helping you balance work and life. In addition to company-paid life insurance and voluntary life & personal accident insurance, the benefits below are available to our team members.
Cons:
Holiday hours we used to close early but now corporate has changed stores to stay open normal business hours. Horrible idea espically for low volume store just a waste of payroll.
Expectations and are getting too excessive and high for employees if the pay was raised maybe it'll be worth it. Don't have the hours available to give employees the chance to fulfill their obligations and required tasks.
Pros:
Have the equipment and materials to fully train employees.
25% discount on walgreens products
benefits available to part timers and full timers.

PTO accumulation changed in the last few years so unless you had time banked new PTO accumulates slowly. Current employees had to change the way vacation is requested and taken to ensure they would be paid for their time off. Also sick and vacation come out of the same PTO accumulation.

I think the benefits package is really good, especially considering that I see about a hundred other peoples insurance coverage everyday. I pay $5 for prescriptions for 30 day supplies and $12.50 for 90 day supplies. I have a $1,500 dollar deductible that I could do without, but everything is covered afterward.
