They have excellent employee development plans and activities but it is wholly dependent upon what segment of the company you are working in...The Parks are phenomenal...corporate is a barren wasteland despite all the talk about developing employees.

Good training classes available. Not enough time to take advantage of them. Some managers are proactive about training employees. Others are not very proactive or engaged in employee development

The Walt Disney Company College Program classes that were offered were my favorite classes that I took during my college career. I learned more there than I did in my actual college courses at my university and I use what I learned at Disney every day.

Good but the managers do have their favorites.

The company cares very greatly about the wellbeing of their employees and their continued success at the company. They pay for training courses and have nearly endless supply of training in both personal and professional development available online through a vast network of services.

You will learn something new daily, but they offer specialized classes to develop leadership, customer service, business tactics, etc.

None, lots of sharp elbows

I have no complaints on this.

This is something that must be discussed with your manager. If you want to develop most managers at Disney will help you and allow you to move forward.
