This is another area where benefits vary depending on LLC. I used to have Short Term disability paid for by the company with an option to buy Long Term. Now it's flipped - I get long term paid by the company and I have to pay extra to get short term. Both plans are fairly standard with one provider- you either choose to pay for the extended plan or not.
