Has anyone here felt that the further you get in your career the harder interviewing gets? Personally, it feels like I blank out to interviewer’s questions because all my years at work start to blend together. Do you have any tips I could use to start interviewing better for higher positions?

For those actively job searching, what does your daily routine actually look like in terms of applications, learning, networking, and rest? I am trying to understand what a realistic and productive schedule should look like.

Anyone else resorted to playing the lottery? 7 months into the job search I am getting a sense that I have a better chance picking the right numbers.

Anyone else out there who has practically given up on applying and is hoping the job market just picks up at some point, or changes so that it isn't so competitive? After a year of applying regularly, focusing on jobs that I feel overlap well with my experience and resume, I've only gotten a reply once. I have my application process pretty dialed in; I craft a resume per job application. But it usually takes about an hour to do it right. Doesn't seem worth the effort anymore.

If you were laid off in the last year, how long did your job hunt take from start to finish? I'm trying to get people who are affected by tech layoffs an idea on how long to expect before getting a new job and set realistic expectations.
