I am looking for my next watch - I try to buy one per year, for my bday. My absolute favorite would be Rolex Yachtmaster Titanium, however given how rare these are, it us very unlikely I will get one. In the absence of it, which if these three would you choose? 1. Zenith El Primero Skeleton; 2. Tag Heuer Monaco; JLC Reverso Duoface.

What should I choose for my 40th? Lange 1 or Grande Lange 1? Looking for Platinum and something I can rock with a polo / tee when dressing down as equally as with a shirt / blazer. Want to go stealth and prefer Plat over WG. The other alternative is the DD but that would be over budget in grey market. Thanks all!

Watch and fit 👌
It never ends and I love it. What are you showing us next, a Gronefeld?
Love the sport coat.
Love it. How would you compare it to Patek’s 6196P?
I’ve actually tried on those three watches, but appreciate hearing others’ perspectives. The Vacheron Tradicionnelle has the best finishing of the bunch and offers the most value. The 6196P is a direct descendent of the 96, so that’s cool. And then the 5227G seems like the most wearable, everyday watch of the three as it has an automatic movement, and as you mentioned, lugs that taper. All great options imo. My name is currently down for the 6196P because I like its connection to the original Calatrava. That being said, I’m oftentimes pulled toward those other two.
