Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Many questions regarding electric machines, control systems were asked.
A recorded video interview without any human contact. It was problematic not being able to have a discussion, and instead just talk to yourself. Feels very impersonal as well. The point of an interview is to also get a feel for the company you're applying for.

Talk about a time when you had to overcome a difficult problem.
Why are you interested in this trainee program? This program offers a structured way to build both technical and commercial skills — which fits perfectly with my growth mindset and long-term goals.”
I applied online. I interviewed at ABB (Fornebu) in Nov 2024
Interview
Applied online and did an online personality and skill assessment.
First online interview with information about the trainee program and briefly discussing my background.
Then I got invited for a physical interview in their offices. Three people got invited to the physical interview, and they told us they wanted to hire 1-2 of us. One of the others got hired, I did not, and I do not know if the third one recieved an offer. At the physical interview we did an individual sales pitch(not really relevant for the position but just to throw us off and see how we handle uncomfortable situations), then we did a group task where we reflected on how Norway can reduce climate emissions. We also did an individual interview. No technical questions, Only asked what I wanted to work with and my motivation for applying for the position.
