I was interviewing for a green sales position because I knew one of the senior sales account manager. They talked about wanting someone a little more green and new to sales or the industry. I'm guessing to pay them less and mold them over time. I met with manager in grapevine and had a great interview. I could not see any reason why they would not hire me. Especially since they strongly market themselves as "millennial friendly" all over social media. They claim they want fresh careers leaders with logistics and supply Chain degrees. I have a Supply Chain degree with a 3.8 GPA 7 years of experience in management and procurement and the only thing lacking was a ton of sales experience which they claim they didn't want in the first place. Well I did not get offered a position and I heard from a friend that they said they I didn't have any clients to bring with me?! How do you find green millennial s with clients to bring?? Anyways I'm not sure maybe they just didn't prefer me.
