      Ad Sales Interview

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AOL (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2015

      Interview

5 30-minute interviews. The interviewers were very interested in my past community service experience, and it seemed AOL was very focused on their CSR, such as their Monster Help Day. Focus of ad sales to upsell their clients and understand the large network of platforms AOL has.

      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AOL (New York, NY) in Jan 2008

      Interview

office culture seemed in transition and people were somewhat concerned about thier roles. role definition was lacking. interviewer was nice and questions were what you'd expect. very complex sales hierarchy so be sure to get in to teh right spot upfront because leadership frequently changes and people won't remember what you were brought in for.
