4 plus zoom interviews, a take home assignment, it was not transparent. Found out they brought another interviewee into the process at the last stage, allowing them to skip all the other stages.

How to avoid groupthink? Wanted me to draft research project ideas
Lacked transparency, inconsistent and inaccurate communication from the two people leading the search. Extremely long process that is not feasible for people who have a job/responsibilities. Senior leaders were not prepared for the interviews at all. Inconsistent views of what it's like to work there from the senior people/hiring leads and management/supervisors who made the job sound completely different than the people working in those positions. The whole process felt like a waste of time. All about the organization and a lack of recognition of people doing the work.
