I contacted the hiring manager and she said to send over a resume and we could set up a time to talk about the position. We talked for about 10 minutes, she told me about the position and I answered a few questions she had. It went pretty well, and then she sent over some papers for me to sign and told me she’d be sending my resume on to the next person above her. She warned me that the process to review resumes and get back to me might take a while but I was understanding about that. I waited a couple of weeks and emailed her just to touch base and get any information back about the timeline of the position. This was back in July and I never got a response back. I thought this was very rude but not uncommon when applying for jobs.
