Interview
Very time consuming with four interviews within two days. Three were on the first day with only one originally scheduled. Was promised an additional interview with corporate in writing and via phone.. crickets. The process would have been 5 steps and a complete waste of time. I had another offer and was really interested in this position. Do you think they care enough to let you know you aren’t being considered for the job so you can move on? Nope, thankfully I had enough common sense to accept so I wouldn’t jeopardize the other offer.
Very unprofessional for such a well known company from the recruiter and VP level. No communication or even a standard decline email from the recruiter or hiring manager after I wasn’t selected. My follow up email was ignored. I had to find out I wasn’t selected via the icims portal.
This is the 2nd bad interview experience and will be my last. You have no problem getting an interview if qualified. But be prepared for a lot of unprofessionalism along the way along with not being able to trust a word they say. I totally dodged a bullet and cheap pay for the job. Aimbridge was a company I wanted to work for but if they are horrible during the interview process I can only imagine what working for the company is like.
