Disorganized Process and a Complete Waste of Time:
The recruitment process was frustrating from start to finish.
An HR representative contacted me on LinkedIn saying they would arrange a call to discuss the initial steps. That call never happened. Instead, they kept saying they would arrange it while continuing to communicate only through text messages. If you're not going to make the call, don't keep telling candidates you will.
The technical interview was even worse. The interviewer appeared to be a technical recruiter with little to no understanding of the topics being discussed. They simply read questions from a list and couldn't explain or clarify them when asked. It felt like they were just waiting to hear a few predefined keywords rather than trying to understand whether the candidate actually knew the subject.
Technical interviews should be conversations where both sides can discuss approaches, trade-offs, and reasoning. There is rarely a single 100% correct answer. Instead, this felt like ticking boxes on a checklist.
Overall, the entire experience came across as unprofessional, poorly organized, and a complete waste of my time. If you're interviewing experienced engineers, at least have someone who understands the technical questions they're asking.
