      Interview

The most unprofessional, scatterbrained company I have ever come across - RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE! No respect for your time and dignity - fumbles in interview scheduling, poor communication and 0 remorse 1. They were welcoming and got me roped in to the company and job position during the first 2 rounds of interviews. Then the 3rd round came... 2. The online interview was scheduled on a set date and when the day came, I waited 30 mins for the interviewer out of courtesy. NO ONE updated me on the situation so I had to call the Aleph staff to ask why hasn't my interview started. They simply said "Sorry the interviewer is on medical leave and we forgot to tell you” 3. They rescheduled my interview to the following day. Right when it was about to start, I was informed that the interviewer is busy and we have to push it to a later timing. Said timing came and I was then asked for another reschedule. only this time it was *indefinitely during the following week* 4. Radio silence for days till I had to reach out to Aleph and ask when I can expect the interview. They told me to wait, only to send me an email afterwards explaining that the role I applied for is now closed due to "internal business reasons". I was not informed at any time beforehand that this role was indefinite. With this terrific display of unprofessionalism by Aleph, I could safely say that I dodged a bullet. This is only the surface - I could only imagine the type of work ethic that they uphold as a company.

Dear Candidate, On behalf of the talent acquisition team, we would like to apologise for your unpleasant experience but please be assured that we have looked into this matter. You were shortlisted for the final round of interview, as we enjoyed our conversations with you. The third round of interview was cancelled as informed, the interviewer was not feeling well. We do take your feedback seriously that you were not informed timely for the cancellation of the interview. We will implement better planning and actions at our end to avoid this in the future. Nonetheless, due to a change in the business direction as shared with you, the position is now put on hold. This information was shared with you as soon as we could. Our team has been trying to reach you via your mobile for the past few weeks to explain to you the circumstances. If you are still willing to hear us out, please reach out to us via hr@aleph-labs.com. More than happy to have this discussion with you. Thank you and all the best for your future endeavours.
