Interviewer asked thoughtful questions that showed interest in career development rather than just "what can you bring to the table for our company?". He was also very transparent about the ambiguity of this new role which was greatly appreciated as I am adaptable and enjoy navigating through ambiguity. HR response could be a little delayed and coordination could be improved but overall, all worked out.
