I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Alfa Laval (Greenwood, IN) in May 2024
Interview
Met with recruiter for initial phone screen, which transitioned into a call with the department director the following week for a role in Indiana. The initial job description had changed several times between these calls, which was not brought to my attention. The senior director/hiring manager was surprised I was not aware of these changes and appeared they did not know what they were looking to hire. I was notified that the company was attempting to fill the role as soon as possible. Following my interview, I did not hear back for several weeks, which the only correspondence I received was an automated rejection email.
Reviewing their current openings 2 months later, this job is still available and is likely a ghost job. Would strongly recommend utilizing your time to apply elsewhere as this experience was highly unprofessional and this company is curating resumes.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Alfa Laval (Sioux Falls, SD)
Interview
Initial phone conversation with HR recruiter. Then a zoom call with two men in leadership. One of the men seemed to be having a bad day or just overtly was not interested in me from the moment the interview began. He was very rude. Nearly 4 months later and they are still trying to hire for this job in my market.
It was in two stages. First was an aptitude test. Second was a round with human representative and a person from the engineering department. It was a normal interview. Aptitude test is not hard
